Dr. Patrick Freud, chiropractor, DC

Dr. Freud holds a Bachelor of Science degree (High Honours) in Anatomy and Psychology from McGill University, a Doctor of Chiropractic degree (Highest Honours) from Parker University in Dallas, Texas, and a Chiropractic Neurology degree (Highest Honours) from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. He is board certified from the American National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and l’Ordre des Chiropraticiens du Québec and is a member of l’Association des Chiropraticiens du Québec and the Canadian Chiropractic Association.
In 2007, Dr. Freud obtained Diplomate status from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (ACNB) and became one of the first Canadian chiropractors to have this certification. He has since completed Functional Neurology training from the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies in the treatment of Concussion, Vestibular conditions, Movement disorders and Pediatric neurodevelopment problems. He has also been an examiner for the ACNB and has helped establish Chiropractic Neurology educational programs in Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal.
In addition to being in private practice since 1996, Dr. Freud has been an Adjunct Professor of Anatomy for McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine since 1999. He has been lecturing internationally on concussion management and functional neurology applications through Adjusting the Brain seminars since 2015.

Dr. Felix Shum, chiropractor, DC
Dr. Shum completed his doctorate degree in chiropractic at l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) and is presently pursuing advanced training in functional neurology through the National University of Health Sciences and the International Association of Functional Neurology. He is board certified from the l’Ordre des Chiropraticiens du Québec and is a member of l’Association des Chiropraticiens du Québec and the Canadian Chiropractic Association.
With a deep passion for helping people, Dr. Shum took part in a humanitarian trip providing free care to impoverished communities in Bolivia. He was also on the medical staff of the UQTR varsity cheerleading team where he developed a special interest in treating athletic injuries.
Perfectly bilingual in English and French, Dr. Shum is also fluent in Cantonese.

Dr. Eric Legault, chiropractor, DC
Dr. Legault is a graduate of the New York Chiropractic College since 1999 and has a practice in Sainte Anne de Bellevue and at the Freud Clinic. He is board certified from the American National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and l’Ordre des Chiropraticiens du Québec. He is a member of l’Association des Chiropraticiens du Québec and the Canadian Chiropractic Association, as well as the Phi Chi Omega Chiropractic Scholastic Honour Society.
Dr Legault is also a graduate from clinical neuroscience program of the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies since 2015.
A registered nurse since 2002, Mélanie Grenier has specialized in cardiology and cardiac intensive care since 2007. Her vision of health promotion prioritizes the human side of medicine, as well as education. Following her passion for anatomy and the complexity of the human body, she pursued the study of osteopathy at College d’Etudes Osteopathic de Montreal in 2010. While continuing her studies, she participated in a humanitarian aid project in Peru where she offered osteopathy services. She is now continuing her education with post-graduate classes.

Nathalie Durand, licensed massage therapist
Nathalie Durand completed her Bachelor’s degree at Concordia University. After recovering from a serious horseback riding accident in 1994, Nathalie pursued her curiosity about healing in the alternative health field. Developing a passion for massage, she underwent almost 2000 hours of training in Canada, the US, and India. She has since devoted over 20 years in alternative health using massage therapy and holistic manual therapy.
She is a member of the Fédération Québécoise des Massothérapeute Agréée (FQM) since 1996, a member of the International Association of Healthcare Practitioners (IAHP) since 1997, and has completed advanced studies in Craniosacral therapy with the Upledger Institute in 2000.
Nathalie combines listening, presence and awareness into her wide variety of modalities. Her sessions may include mobilizations, stretches, acupressure points, fasciatherapy, myofascial release, dialogue, deep flow and other techniques, adapted to the patient’s comfort, with or without oil.

Martin Veen, licensed hypnotist

After completing his MBA course at the Erasmus University Business School in the Netherlands and subsequently managing several high-end Michelin star restaurants and resorts across Europe, Asia, North Africa, and the Caribbean, Martin Veen’s ongoing desire to understand more about his intuitive senses led him to change careers.
He embarked on a journey of learning in Europe, Asia and South America where he obtained certifications in Silva-mind-control method, Neuro-Emotional Integration, Akashic Record Reading, Sacred Realms of Healing, and in Canada, became certified in Hypnosis (National Guild of Hypnotists).
Mr. Veen has practiced in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Bulgaria and Switzerland. He is now settled in Montreal and looks forward to helping clients at the Freud Clinic.
Susan Kingston, Holistic Practitioner
Susan Kingston has been practicing in the field of nutrition and ortho-molecular medicine for 15 years. She attended the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and graduated with high honours in 2013.
Susan specializes in the link between the gut, nutritional deficiencies and brain/emotional function. She assists a wide array of clients in their quest to gain optimal health, overcoming mental, emotional and physical disturbances through diet and lifestyle changes, essential oils and supplements (herbal, homeopathic, ortho-molecular medicine) to live a fuller and more rewarding life. She is educated on the newest research regarding the food-mood cycle and how different systems in the body are connected, along with the latest research on food intolerances and the effect on the overall health and wellbeing of the body and mind.
Susan offers 3-month nutritional coaching programs, as well as group programs for weight loss and body detoxification.
